As part of the Create learning development programme, myself and Alan Delmar will be unveiling our collaborative piece entitled Disconnect at the Lab, Foley Street on Thursday 26th April 2012 at 6pm. This work forms part of the group show From Context to Exhibition, and sees a departure for me from pure back to video and multimedia work. The show will run from the 26th April to the 9th May inclusive.
So we made it to 100. Well, actually, we got to 104! The First Fortnight project will be opening at Filmbase, Temple Bar on Friday 6th January at 6:30pm. So mark it in your diaries..
I wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone who sat for the project. You were all so wonderfully open and giving. And you've already inspired many conversations, conversations that are helping to break down stigmas. Like this one for example. I'd also like to say a very sincere thank you to Vlastimil Buzek, without whom I wouldn't have been able to produce the project at all. Thank you so much Vlastik :)
So hopefully some of you will be able to make it down for the launch of the First Fortnight Visual Arts Festival. And while you're at it, check out what's on throughout the festival.
