First Fortnight call for participants! (posted 7th October 2011)

First Fortnight is an arts-based mental health awareness project who, along with See Change, are organising a 2 week festival of music and visual arts aimed at ending the stigma surrounding mental health issues. The aim is to get people talking about the things that concern themselves and the people they love. I'm very excited to be involved this year, but I need your help! Read more HERE

Presenting again (posted 6th October 2011)

Next Wednesday, the 12th of October 2011, I'll be presenting research findings from my dissertation Criminalising the Photograph as part of the DRHEA Undergraduate Research Conference, in the Helix complex, DCU, Dublin. The research examines cultural and legislative shifts in the wake of terrorist attacks in the last decade, and their impact on both the photographer and the images being produced. My presentation will last about 15 to 20 minutes, with time for questions afterwards.

If you would like to attend this (free! with free pizza!!) event, there are a limited number of tickets still available from the Eventbrite page. I'm not sure yet what time I'm presenting at, but if you want to email me i'll let you know as soon as I do.

Rotten tomatoes at the ready :)
