Produced in collaboration with artist and choreographer Mona Gamil and contemporary dancer Ahmed Asmi for the Breaking Walls festival in Cairo, September 2018. Conspiracy examines truth and propaganda, censorship, our relationships with our bodies and the performance of identity and gender through quantum mechanics, science/fiction, sound art and movement. Using a mix of street dance known as Krump and Japanese dance theatre Butoh, performance lecture, and projection mapping, the 45 minute performance explores our understandings of reality and knowledge, mind/body duality and scientific truth.
