Streete examines landscape as portrait and the use of place as a signifier of an individual's story. Part of a continuing body of research exploring narrative form and the concept of the Author in portraiture, the work focuses on home, belonging and the land, and where exactly the core readings and codes of understanding lie in these representations. How are they constructed, and by whom?
